Job description

With over 140 years of legacy, Bulgari Middle East is looking for a Perfume Sales Manager, to lead and elevate our olfactory representation in the Middle East Domestic Markets.

Mission :

Responsible for managing the Middle East Domestic market accounts and developing customer strategies. The role is accountable for the business performance of these accounts regarding sales, market value share, and activity footprint.

Job responsibilities

  • Assess and scout the market of reference : Review and define the network strategy for all domestic markets.
  • Propose plans and programs to find new business opportunities in the area / market of reference.
  • Develop and implement the sales strategy per client across the region.
  • Manage brand visibility through space negotiations, promotional bookings, and coordinating media bookings.
  • Manage prospect and customer data to provide market expertise, sales performance, and product / marketing recommendations.
  • Protect and elevate brand positioning as well as improving the brand ranking at Point of Sale (POS).

Account Management :

  • Manage clients across 10 countries, each with different business models.
  • Strengthen positions with top clients and source additional growth from new potentials, collaborating closely with the Marketing team to support sales.
  • Create and deliver high impact presentations in the area / market of reference to distributors.
  • Build, maintain and enhance relationships with partners and key stakeholders.
  • Assess Point of Sale compliance with Bulgari guidelines (visual merchandising, store layouts, etc.).
  • Successfully manage the negotiation of commercial conditions.
  • Proactively monitor the stock order process and address local stock issues.

Budgeting and Reporting :

  • Strictly monitor support budget, expenses and create corresponding purchase orders.
  • Manage all activities related to accounts receivables.
  • Manage P&L per account / POS and monitor A&P per client.
  • Create and deliver high impact presentations in the area / market of reference.
  • Update internal analysis / reporting.

Team Management :

  • Oversee team development and management : Foster a culture of continuous elevation and professional growth within the team.
  • Manage the hiring process of beauty advisors and negotiate contracts with external agencies.
  • Coach and motivate the sales team, including field supervisors and beauty advisors.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Trainer to train and develop the sales team, including organizing sales seminars.

Profile

  • Business studies and significant experience in sales activities (4-6 years, preferably in luxury companies), with some international exposure within a similar luxury market.
  • Previous experience in perfumes is essential.
  • Knowledge and understanding of market competitors and luxury business dynamics.
  • Entrepreneurial and economical skills with outstanding negotiation capabilities.
  • Knowledge of contractual and legal issues regarding the market of reference.
  • Skills in organization, planning, analysis, and innovation.
  • Modelling leaderships competencies, has self-initiative, and excellent communication skills particularly with presentations.
