Job Title: Quality Control Specialist

Department: Governance & Internal Audit

Reports To: Head of Governance & Internal Audit

Location: UAE- Sharjah

To independently verify the quality and performance of fragrance oils and ensure product integrity across customer locations, warehouses, and production facilities, supporting the Governance & Internal Audit function through accurate, unbiased quality assessments.

• Inspect fragrance oils before production and after filling.
• Perform batch verification and ensure consistency across production cycles.
• Document all quality findings and submit impartial QC reports.
• Coordinate external laboratory testing when advanced analysis is required.

• Conduct customer-site visits to evaluate the performance of Dr. Scent products.
• Measure actual oil consumption inside devices and compare it with expected usage rates.
• Prepare weekly field reports detailing findings, deviations, and improvement recommendations.

Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and 5S standards across all Dr. Scent facilities by conducting routine quality and safety checks and verifying adherence to operational processes.

Verify readiness of essential safety equipment and ensure adherence to safety procedures related to product handling, storage, and operational integrity, including participation in basic safety awareness and emergency preparedness activities.

• Certificate or diploma in chemistry, laboratory science, quality, or any related field.
• Previous 3-5 years experience in quality control within fragrances, or chemical labs is preferred.
• Basic understanding of analytical testing principles and QC practices.
• Ability to conduct field evaluations and prepare objective, data-driven reports.
• Strong integrity, independence, and commitment to unbiased quality verification.
• Valid UAE driving license.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to perform inspections across multiple facilities and customer sites.
• Effective communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Good coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
• Time-management and task-prioritization abilities.
• Computer literacy (ERP familiarity is a plus).
• Ability to work independently within a governance and audit structure.
