Responsibilities
Create project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, and budget.
Set objectives for each project contributor internally and externally.
Identify all operational risks and establish appropriate controls to mitigate them.
Manage assigned projects from initiation to closure on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain effective working practices for the project team.
Continuously monitor project progress and deliverables in line with the project schedule.
Manage client expectations by evaluating their requirements and assessing feasibility with current resources.
Provide accurate, timely, and effective progress reporting to the client and internal management.
Ensure availability of project materials and resources at different stages of the project.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and HSE requirements.
Ensure that QHSE requirements and procedures are met throughout the project.
Address issues in a timely manner to prevent impacts on people and the environment.
Audit violations, investigate, and create control mechanisms to prevent recurrence.
Keep track of incidents and report them to concerned teams.
Attend mandatory training and ensure attendance of the project team.
Identify contract risks and opportunities and monitor their closure.
Maintain risk‑management focus throughout the project duration.
Provide guidance to the project team on how to minimize risks.
Assess risk factors regularly and study their impact on projects and the company.
Conduct weekly visits to the site office and submit a report to management after each visit.
Take full technical and commercial responsibility for execution of the contract in all matters covered within the terms of the contract (from initial review to close‑out).
Ensure that project costs remain tracked and within the planned budget.
Review budgets for optimal cost‑benefit ratio and return on investment.
Manage and coordinate activities regarding contract estimating and cost control.
Monitor all cost aspects of the contract to forecast costs, obtain client approvals, and identify trends.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering; Projects Management Professional (PMP) preferred with +15 years experience managing EPC oil and gas projects.
Proven experience successfully leading large multi‑disciplinary projects.
Knowledge
