Job summary

A recruitment agency seeks a professional with extensive experience in managing infrastructure projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience with infrastructure and underground utilities, knowledge of authority approvals, and strong communication skills. You will lead design reviews, supervise construction, and liaise with local authorities to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strong experience in infrastructure and underground utilities projects.
• Good understanding of design coordination and reviewing technical drawings.
• Proven ability to manage authority submissions and approvals (e.g., ADM, ADDC, ADSSC, Etisalat, Du).
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design review, and implementation of all infrastructure works.
• Coordinate with master planners, consultants, and contractors for infrastructure designs.
• Supervise and monitor construction activities for infrastructure and utilities.
• Manage and review detailed engineering drawings and specifications for infrastructure.
• Oversee the integration and interconnection of various utility systems.
• Liaise directly with local authorities and government entities for design NOCs and permits.
• Establish and manage systems for infrastructure design management and approvals.
• Review contractor and consultant submissions including method statements and shop drawings.
• Coordinate design changes and ensure technical solutions are feasible and cost-effective.
• Support the development team in feasibility studies and master planning.
• Manage handover of infrastructure works to authorities and internal teams.
• Prepare periodic reports for senior management on project progress and risks.
