We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect specialising in Construction Supervision to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of architectural design and construction processes, combined with exceptional leadership and communication skills. This role involves overseeing construction of high-end villas from inception to completion, ensuring that all architectural designs are executed to the highest standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that all aspects of the construction align with the architectural vision while adhering to local regulations and industry best practices. Your expertise will be critical in resolving any challenges that arise during the construction phase, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring quality control throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the entire construction supervision process, ensuring that all architectural designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
2. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
3. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations.
4. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and change orders to ensure compliance with design specifications.
5. Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, addressing any design-related issues that may arise on-site.
6. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
7. Implement quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
8. Assist in the resolution of conflicts and disputes that may arise during the construction process.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to ensure innovative and sustainable design solutions.
10. Mentor junior architects and construction staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a Senior or Principal Architect in construction supervision, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
2. Over 12 years experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE
3. Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building codes.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
6. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and excellence in all aspects of work.
7. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
8. Proficient in architectural design software and construction management tools.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges creatively and effectively.
10. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements.
11. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
