Logistics Coordinator - Jabal-Ali, UAE (African candidates preferred)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Jabal-Ali, UAE. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers. This position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Coordinate and monitor the shipment of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to track shipments and resolve any issues or delays
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and update relevant databases
• Plan and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and ensure on-time delivery
• Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international shipping regulations
• Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods
• Provide regular reports on shipment status to management

• Prior experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with logistics software is a plus
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• African candidates preferred; other nationalities welcome to apply
