About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will analyze designs, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for exhibition stands and event builds. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure all project costings are delivered with precision and within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review visuals, technical drawings, and specifications for exhibition stands and events.
  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs for all project components.
  • Estimate material, equipment, outsourcing, and resource costs using internal templates.
  • Submit timely and accurate cost estimates with a 10% variance allowance based on market rates.
  • Build, update, and maintain a supplier database; negotiate rate cards and preferential pricing.
  • Apply a standard markup margin (30%) as per SESM/VP guidance.
  • Prepare professional quotations for internal teams, including Sales and Operations.
  • Coordinate with stand fabricators and relevant suppliers.
  • Prepare initial budget estimates for senior management review prior to contract finalization.
  • Work extended computer-based hours when required to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in estimation—preferably within exhibitions, events, or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, construction/exhibition estimating processes, and CAD.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage unsociable hours when needed.
