A leading bank in the UAE is seeking a Manager for Operational Control & Governance to oversee compliance and risk management. The role involves conducting control reviews, assessing operational compliance with laws, and providing training on governance principles. Ideal candidates will have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills along with a proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders. This position offers the chance to play a crucial role in enhancing the bank's operational integrity and compliance culture.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operational control, compliance, or risk management.
- Strong communication skills to engage with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in data analysis and dashboard creation for senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of policies and procedures.
- Evaluate operational compliance with laws and regulations.
- Assess effectiveness of controls and identify operational risks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for control enhancements.
- Deliver training sessions on control and compliance topics.
- Prepare and present reports on compliance status and outcomes.
- Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends in operational processes.
