Job summary
A MEP engineering firm is seeking a QA/QC MEP Engineer in Abu Dhabi. The role involves developing and maintaining quality procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 5-7 years of experience in a contracting company. Immediate availability is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a QA/QC MEP Engineer within the UAE.
- Contracting company background is mandatory.
- Experience with large-scale projects in the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain QA/QC procedures for MEP activities.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation.

- Develop implement and maintain the QA/QC procedures and inspection test plans (ITPs) for all MEP activities.
- Conduct routine inspections and site surveillance to ensure MEP works comply with project specifications standards and quality requirements.
- Review and verify all MEP materials installations and testing procedures.
- Coordinate with site engineers subcontractors and consultants for inspections and approval of MEP works.
- Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC documentation including inspection requests (IRs) method statements NCRs and work inspection reports (WIRs).
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (DEWA ADDC DCD etc.).
- Monitor and report nonconformances and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
- Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits when necessary.
- Attend progress and quality meetings and provide necessary inputs and updates.
- Ensure safety and quality are maintained across all MEP site activities.
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 57 years of experience in a QA/QC MEP Engineer role within the UAE.
- Contracting company background is mandatory.
- Experience working on largescale projects (towers mixeduse developments infrastructure etc.) in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of MEP codes standards and authority regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC software tools; knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit is a plus.
- Excellent communication coordination and reportwriting skills.
- Currently residing in the UAE and available to join immediately.
