Job summary

A construction and engineering firm in Dubai is looking for a professional to perform MEP services, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating on-site installation works, reviewing contractor drawings for compliance, and ensuring quality control and safety standards. This role includes managing subcontractors and overseeing project invoices. Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems is essential.

• Perform MEP services such as installation, testing & commissioning, maintenance & operations. With technical knowledge of Electrical system and plumbing system. Evaluates, Review technical requisition, drawings and documents, Ensuring compliance with required standards and specifications.
• Coordinate & supervise all MEP installation works at site.
• Review contractor’s shop drawing against the design drawings & as per local authority’s regulation for compliance with the design intent and return with appropriate comments/approval.
• Review & approve shop drawings, design modification/clarifications, material submittals & method statements.
• Arrange quotation from the suppliers & contractors for the works.
• Oversee quality control, health and safety matters on site.
• Finalize qualified subcontractors to carry out the works as per drawings.
• Review and verify progressive project invoices.
• Complete hand-over of the project by arranging O&M manuals with necessary As Built drawings.
