Job summary
A prominent university in the UAE is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician with trade certifications in Mechanical or Electrical. The role requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in MEP works, including maintenance tasks for electrical, plumbing, and carpentry across the campus. The technician will evaluate contractor work, conduct facility inspections, and support IT and AV maintenance needs. The position is crucial for ensuring the operational efficiency of the university's facilities.
Qualifications
- At least 15 years’ experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Works.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and facilitate contractor work progress on maintenance projects.
- Conduct routine inspections of the entire facility daily.
- Support IT and AV modifications and maintenance.
- Supervise major maintenance and modification works.
