Job summary

A leading transportation service provider in Dubai is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Technician to provide effective services for the rolling stock and maintenance vehicles of the Dubai Metro. The role involves assisting in preventive and corrective maintenance, performing inspections, and managing records. Required qualifications include a vocational certification in electrical or mechanical engineering. Ideal candidates will have experience in maintenance, be detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. A valid UAE driving license is also preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in maintenance and repairs of car body, bogies, and suspension components is preferable.
• Knowledge of propulsion systems, brakes, batteries, and auxiliary power supply is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on rolling stock.
• Carry out routine inspections and minor repairs.
• Test functional performance of electromechanical assemblies.
• Manage safe system of works to meet maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate records using a computerized maintenance management system.
