Job Overview
As a Supply Chain Manager at Sharaf DG, you will be responsible for designing and executing supply chain strategies that align with our retail business goals. You ll oversee procurement, warehouse operations, and vendor relationships, while leveraging ERP tools to manage forecasting, production planning, and logistics. This role requires a hands-on leader with proven experience in retail supply chains, cost control, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with company growth objectives
* Oversee procurement, vendor management, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution functions
* Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders
* Monitor key supply chain KPIs such as lead time, fill rate, and unit costs; report performance trends regularly
* Ensure full compliance with regulatory and legal standards across all supply chain activities
* Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations) to forecast demand and manage stock levels
* Use ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or RetailPro for planning, tracking, and inventory management
* Respond swiftly to disruptions in the supply chain, including product shortages and market fluctuations
Job Requirements
* Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master s preferred)
* Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or distribution management within the retail industry
* Expertise in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization
* Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, RetailPro) and data analytics tools
* Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making
Preferred Skills
* APICS or equivalent certification (CSCP, CPIM) is highly desirable
* Experience with international sourcing, customs clearance, and compliance processes
* Working knowledge of audit standards and regulatory frameworks
