Job summary
A leading construction company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Rigger 3 to ensure safe and efficient rigging of equipment and materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety standards and will work closely with crane operators to maintain smooth operations. Key responsibilities include performing rigging and lifting, inspecting equipment, planning lifts, reporting safety hazards, and maintaining records of operations. This role is essential to uphold operational efficiency and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience in rigging, lifting, and moving heavy equipment safely.
- Knowledge of equipment inspection and maintenance protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively with crane operators.
Responsibilities
- Perform rigging, lifting, and moving of heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and maintain rigging equipment, including slings, chains, shackles, and hoists.
- Assist in planning and executing lifts, following engineering specifications and site safety protocols.
- Work closely with crane operators and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of rigging operations and inspections.
