Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in adult neuro-rehabilitation or hospital setting.
- Experience with Parkinson’s disease and dysphagia management is desirable.

- Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions.

King’s College Hospital London – UAE is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team, supporting patients with neurological and movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease.
Role Summary:
As a Speech & Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing difficulties in adults with neurological conditions, working closely with neurologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and specialist nurses.
You’ll play a vital role in improving patient quality of life through personalized therapy, education, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, voice, and swallowing functions
- Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans for patients with Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning
- Provide caregiver and patient education and support
- Contribute to service development, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support training, workshops, and community awareness activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Valid professional registration/licensure (e.g. DHA, DOH)
- Minimum 3-5 yrs of experience in adult neuro-rehabilitation or hospital setting
- Experience with Parkinson’s disease, dysphagia management, and AAC is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
- Passionate about patient-centered care and continuous learning
