About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Agile Coach to lead enterprise-wide Agile transformation for a major banking client. The successful candidate will act as a servant leader, strategic mentor, and Agile evangelist, tasked with increasing Agile maturity across tribes, squads, and business functions.
This role is pivotal in embedding Agile best practices, optimizing team performance, and shaping a delivery-focused culture aligned with business outcomes. You will work closely with senior leadership, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional delivery teams to scale Agile practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Coaching & Transformation
- Champion the adoption of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban across teams and tribes.
- Coach Product Owners and team members on backlog grooming, sprint planning, and empirical planning.
- Lead Agile workshops and simulations to foster understanding and drive continuous improvement.
- Cultivate a servant leadership mindset and Agile culture through Communities of Practice.
- Support organizational transition from traditional Waterfall delivery to Agile frameworks.
Delivery Enablement & Governance
- Improve Agile maturity through consistent coaching and structured governance practices.
- Define and implement the right Agile cadence, sprint rituals, and performance metrics.
- Utilize ALM tools like Jira, Confluence, and others to drive transparency and reporting.
- Drive quarterly planning sessions and ensure roadmap visibility for all stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management & Business Alignment
- Act as the Agile liaison between Group IT and business units to align on delivery expectations.
- Establish strong relationships with product owners, business heads, and executive stakeholders.
- Support strategic initiatives by identifying delivery risks and optimizing collaboration models.
Innovation & Solutioning
- Contribute to solution design with a strategic mindset and a passion for innovation.
- Solve complex organizational and delivery challenges through Agile experimentation and iteration.
- Enable squads to self-organize and deliver high-impact products aligned with business goals.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science / Engineering
Agile Certification (Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
8+ years in Agile roles, preferably in BFSI
Strong command over Agile tools and delivery frameworks
Strategic mindset with excellent stakeholder management
Exceptional communication and servant leadership skills
Desirable:
- PSM/SAFe/ICAgile Coaching Certifications
- Familiarity with Digital Banking or Financial Services domain
- Experience driving Agile adoption at scale
