King’s College Hospital London – UAE is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team, supporting patients with neurological and movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease.

King’s College Hospital London – UAE is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team, supporting patients with neurological and movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease.

Role Summary:

As a Speech & Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing difficulties in adults with neurological conditions, working closely with neurologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and specialist nurses.

You’ll play a vital role in improving patient quality of life through personalized therapy, education, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, voice, and swallowing functions
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans for patients with Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning
  • Provide caregiver and patient education and support
  • Contribute to service development, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Support training, workshops, and community awareness activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
  • Valid professional registration/licensure (e.g. DHA, DOH)
  • Minimum 3-5 yrs of experience in adult neuro-rehabilitation or hospital setting
  • Experience with Parkinson’s disease, dysphagia management, and AAC is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
  • Passionate about patient-centered care and continuous learning
