Job Purpose:
Energy Efficiency department document controller.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation/compilation/editing of project documentation (inspection requests, material/technical/method statement submittals)
• Following and improving document control procedures
• Distribute project related documents to client and internal teams
• Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion
• File documents in physical and digital records
• Create templates for future use
• Manage the flow of documentation within the organization
• Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
• Copy, scan, and store documents
• Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards
• Sorting, storing, and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of clients and internal team members
• Documentation required for issuance of Purchase Orders
• Inventory records of the materials in stores
Skills Required:
• Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role
• Familiarity with project documentation process
• Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel
• Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
• Proficient typing and editing skills
• Data organization skills
• Administration skills
• Be thorough and pay attention to detail
• Able to work well with others
• Customer service skills
• Knowledge of the English language
• Work well under pressure
• Flexible and open to location change
• Able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in information system and technology, management or similar
