Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in shopping malls, commercial buildings, or mixed-use developments.
• Ability to read MEP drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of UAE safety standards and work permits.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot centralized HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per AMC and manufacturer recommendations.
• Attend breakdowns and ensure quick rectification to avoid disruption.
• Monitor BMS alarms and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain proper temperature, humidity, and air quality in various areas.
• Coordinate with mall operations, tenants, and management during maintenance activities.
• Conduct chiller plant room inspections and log readings.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and mall regulations.
• Assist in tenant fit-out HVAC works and inspections.
• Prepare daily maintenance reports and update logbooks.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and system optimization.

Job description

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot centralized HVAC systems including:

• Chillers (air-cooled & water-cooled)
• AHUs, FAHUs, PAUs
• FCUs, VRF/VRV systems
• Cooling towers and pumps

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per AMC and manufacturer recommendations.

Attend breakdowns and ensure quick rectification to avoid disruption to mall operations.

Monitor BMS (Building Management System) alarms and coordinate corrective actions.

Maintain proper temperature, humidity, and indoor air quality in public areas, retail units, cinemas, food courts, and back-of-house areas.

Coordinate with mall operations, tenants, and management during maintenance activities.

Conduct chiller plant room inspections and log readings (pressures, temperatures, ampere loads).

Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permits to work, and mall regulations.

Assist in tenant fit-out HVAC works and inspections.

Prepare daily maintenance reports and update logbooks.

Support energy-saving initiatives and system optimization.

Skills

Strong knowledge of:
