Job Description

• Assist the Camp Boss in managing daily camp operations, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience.
• Address guest inquiries and issues promptly, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Conduct regular inventory checks of supplies and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Handle reservations and cancellations with precision, utilizing property management systems to maintain accuracy.
• Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing personnel, including transportation and accommodation arrangements.
• Implement and monitor camp policies and procedures, ensuring adherence by all staff and guests.
• Act as a liaison between the camp management and external stakeholders, addressing concerns and feedback effectively.
• Prepare detailed reports on camp operations and incidents, presenting findings to the Camp Boss for strategic decisions.
• Assist in emergency response planning and execution, ensuring readiness for unforeseen situations.
• Promote a culture of health and safety, conducting regular inspections and staff training to mitigate risks.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum of a high school diploma; higher education in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in camp management or hospitality roles, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is essential; additional safety training is a plus.
• Experience in remote or offshore camp settings is highly valued to ensure familiarity with unique challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
• Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work long hours in varying outdoor conditions.
• A proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset to address challenges swiftly and effectively.
• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in diverse environments with respect and professionalism.
