Early Career Program – Service Specialist (UAE)

The Early Career Program is designed for fresh graduates. Baker Hughes will train talented individuals who meet the required criteria to participate in a specific business. The program duration is 6 to 12 months and aims to develop your technical knowledge and soft skills through on-the-job learning and exposure.

As part of our Early Career Traineeship, you will be involved in:

• On-the-job training with the Service Delivery Organization in Surface Pressure Control (SPC) Services.
• Gaining comprehensive knowledge of Surface Pressure Control equipment (Wellhead & Xmas tree) operation and maintenance, including outages, field services, repairs, and parts.
• Experiencing business financial aspects such as Sales, Margin, and Cash.

Activities include:

• Participating in HSE Induction to familiarize trainees with Baker Hughes Safety Standards.
• Visiting wellsites to monitor and observe execution phases.
• Engaging in basic fieldwork, including sampling, surveys, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Gaining hands-on experience with certified high-performing machines.
• Rotating across different business functions (Sales, Sourcing, Quality, Project Management, Service Delivery, Manufacturing) to understand the full business process.

To succeed in this traineeship, you should:

• Be a UAE national (holding a family book).
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, petroleum engineering, or equivalent, graduated within the last 24 months.
• Achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Be fluent in written and spoken English with effective communication skills.
• Be inquisitive with a strong desire to learn.
• Be legally eligible to work in the country without sponsorship or time restrictions.
