Role: Engineering Team Lead

In this role, you will:

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the dubizzle platform, industry trends, and technologies.
• Share knowledge of technologies and architectures, and mentor within your product stream and team.
• Ensure high standards in software delivery and promote best practices.
• Lead technical initiatives, set goals, and guide the team towards successful project completion.
• Monitor team performance, identify growth opportunities, and foster a productive environment.
• Manage project scope and operations effectively.
• Shape the technical vision within your stream and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Infrastructure, Design, UX, CLM, and Strategy.
• Hire top engineering talent and develop future leaders.
• Own business KPIs related to your product stream.
• Maintain high-quality software and ensure team development.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in web-based front-end/back-end engineering.
• Experience with high-traffic, large-scale web products.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP.
• Technical leadership and mentorship experience.
• Experience with Python in web application development.
• Proven project delivery and management skills.
• Experience managing a team of 5+ developers.
