To keep our projects running at the highest level, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Controller to strengthen our Finance team. This role is a great opportunity to grow within an international and dynamic environment while directly supporting our project managers and leadership with financial insights.

Project Controlling

• Support forecasting and variance analysis (cost, schedule, resources)
• Prepare financial reports for projects and provide insights to project managers
• Analyze change requests and their impact on budgets and scope
• Reconcile project costs upon closure

Month-End / Period-End Closing

• Assist with journal entries, accruals, and deferrals
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Assist with P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
• Perform variance analysis vs. budget, forecast, and prior year
• Provide inputs into management reports and dashboards
• Support business units with ad hoc financial queries

Compliance & Documentation

• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation
• Help maintain process compliance and internal controls
• Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration, or related field
• 1–3 years’ experience in controlling, finance, or project-related roles
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
• Strong foundation in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Familiarity with project accounting or cost tracking (SAP and Scoro preferred)
• Excellent Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP a plus); exposure to Power BI a plus
• Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS / Swiss GAAP FER a plus)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset
• Clear communicator who can collaborate with project managers, finance, and stakeholders
• A team player with the ability to work independently
• Eager to learn and grow into a broader controlling or project finance role
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
