Position: Security Systems Engineer
Income: Up to 5,000 AED plus company vehicle

About the Company: The hiring company is a security services business with its headquarters located in the UK.
Job Summary:
- Regular Maintenance/ Planned Preventive Maintenance as scheduled by the line manager.
- Examine and clean the specific equipment to be maintained, i.e., Cameras, DVR/NVR, Switches, and Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDs) following the maintenance SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
- Identify and, when approved, repair errors found during maintenance visits.
- Installation and commissioning of high-level security system hardware.
- Commissioning and testing of security systems.
- Installation and commissioning of software and networking systems.
- Report daily to the line manager.
- Submit timely working reports, expenses, and vehicle mileage sheets when requested.
- Handle the installation and commissioning of special projects as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- Experienced and enthusiastic team member (essential).
- 5 or more years of work experience as a security system engineer or related position (essential).
- Good verbal and written communication skills (essential).
- Ability to work independently and use initiative (essential).
- Knowledge of security systems including managing antivirus applications, firewalls, authentication systems, and intrusion detection alert systems (essential).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (essential).
- Proficient in using a laptop for remote access to client sites for first-line troubleshooting (essential).
- Skilled in AutoCAD or a related drawing program (desired).
- Troubleshooting network and software issues (desired).
- Valid UAE driving license (essential).
