Job Description

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works from drawings and specifications.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to understand scope and cost requirements.
• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) as per project drawings and specifications.
• Conduct rate analysis and assist in preparing cost breakdowns.
• Participate in tender submissions, including pricing and documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, procurement, and subcontractors for pricing and technical clarifications.
• Monitor project budgets and cost control measures during execution.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor payments and variations.
• Assist in preparing monthly project valuations and cost reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking a skilled MEP Quantity Surveyor cum Estimator to join our team in the UAE. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, managing budgets, and ensuring effective cost control for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services in construction projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the UAE (MEP estimation and quantity surveying).
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Planswift, Candy, or equivalent).
• Good analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
