Job summary
A leading technology consultancy in Dubai is seeking a Technical Consultant with 5-7 years of experience, primarily in Big Data environments. The role involves designing, configuring, and implementing data solutions, alongside providing consultancy on network infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Management Information Systems and hands-on experience with tools like SAP HANA and data visualization platforms. This position requires strong SQL skills and the ability to deliver effective technical training.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in data-related consultancy, preferably as Hana Consultant.
- Strong understanding of Big Data technologies and data pipeline management.
- Hands-on experience in SQL programming and data modeling.
Responsibilities
- Provide consultancy on data center and network infrastructure.
- Design, configure, and implement solutions for clients.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing and provide post-implementation support.

Technical Consultant
The Technical Consultant is accountable for providing advice and consultancy on services related but not limited to data center and network infrastructure, business continuity, disaster recovery, information and Cyber Security. S/He designs, configures, tests and implements projects.
- Understand customers’ requirements and propose necessary actions and solutions
- Participate in the design, configuration and implementation of solutions provided to clients
- Take part in the development process of technical specifications related to offered solutions
- Implement software solutions recommending enhancements to systems and services while solving clients’ complaints and inquiries
- Conduct User Acceptance Test with the client on the implemented solution
- Create documentation including implementation, design, best practices and necessary documents
- Provide post implementation support for the implemented solution during the stabilization period
- Follow through the different solutions and implementations to ensure the company methodologies are well maintained highlighting inconsistencies when needed
- Participate in upgrades and programming exercises and implementations
- Deliver technical trainings and promote a professional image of the company at all times
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information System or any other related field
- 5-7 years of experience as Hana Consultant.
- Solid background in Big Data environments with practical experience in ETL/ELT, data cleansing, encoding, and large-scale data processing
- Solid background in SAP HANA Flowgraph and the Predictive Analysis Library (PAL)
- Experience in building and integrating data pipelines using tools such as SDI/SDA, managing data flow graphs, and performing data modelling.
- Hands-on experience in DDL Data modeling is the process of creating a visual, conceptual, or logical blueprint of data structures, table creating , indexing performance tunning implement into a physical database.
- Hands-on experience in SQL ptogramming , stored procedure cursor , fetching and strong SQL wide knoweldege
- Hands-on experience in data preprocessing, normalization.
- Hands-on experience in API Management and Integration
- Experience with data visualization tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, and Tableau
- Nice to have experience in Predictive Analysis Library (PAL)
