- Perform specialized surgical procedures for pediatric patients with various surgical needs.
- Evaluate and diagnose children with surgical conditions, developing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Participate in surgical rounds and provide guidance to medical staff and residents.
- Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives focused on pediatric surgical care.
- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and post-operative care.
- Stay updated on advancements in pediatric surgery and incorporate best practices into clinical settings.
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completion of a Pediatric Surgery fellowship.
- Board certification in Pediatric Surgery required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric surgical practice.
- Expertise in a wide range of pediatric surgical techniques and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, pediatric healthcare environment.
- Commitment to ongoing education, research, and excellence in pediatric surgical healthcare.
