Job summary
A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Planner specialized in civil engineering. The role involves reviewing schedules, developing master schedules, and preparing progress reports, especially for major infrastructure projects within the UAE. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in scheduling software like Primavera P6. Excellent communication skills in English are necessary for effective coordination with clients and contractors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years experience in project planning.
- Prior involvement in major infrastructure projects in the UAE.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate progress schedules.
Responsibilities
- Review contractor's baseline schedule for project alignment.
- Develop and integrate master schedules for multiple project packages.
- Evaluate and verify progress schedules and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare progress reports and coordinate with contractors and clients.

- Review and validate contractor s baseline schedule ensuring alignment with contract conditions and project resources for timely completion. Hand on experience of Primavera P6
- Develop a master schedule integrating multiple packages and assess potential risks or conflicts documenting them in the Project Risk Register.
- Evaluate and verify progress schedules identifying delays critical events and recommending corrective actions or recovery plans.
- Prepare progress reports assess claims (e.g. Extension of Time) attend meetings coordinate with contractors and clients and lead a team of planning engineers.
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years experience
- Prior experience working on major infrastructure projects comprising development / improvement of interchange highway underpass bridge utilities UAE experience is required
- Proficiency in scheduling software particularly Primavera P6.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
