Job description

AECOM are currently seeking an experienced Architecture Manager to join our Construction Supervision practice on a project in Abu Dhabi. The Architectural Manager is responsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of construction projects onsite. This role involves ensuring that the design intent is realized during construction coordinating with various stakeholders and addressing any issues that arise during the building process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Supervision: Oversee the construction site to ensure that the architectural design is implemented correctly and according to the plans.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to resolve any design or construction issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise onsite, making adjustments to plans as necessary.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports to clients and stakeholders, highlighting any deviations from the plan and proposing solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of site activities, including daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders.
  • Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with the project.
