Senior Electrical Engineer, HV Power Transmission Projects
Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide support for electrical engineering in power transmission projects. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with high-voltage equipment. Responsibilities include project planning, coordination with internal and external teams, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in power transmission projects.
- Experience with high-voltage equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for project planning, execution, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with OEMs and design teams for engineering deliverables.
- Review technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Support site teams in resolving technical issues during installation.
- Liaise with procurement and quality teams to ensure timely equipment delivery.
- Assist in preparing method statements and commissioning plans.
- Submit weekly progress reports to the project manager.
