David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer for their offices in Ras Al Khaimah.

Position: Electrical Engineer

Location: Ras Al Khaimah UAE

Employment type: Fulltime

Remuneration: Base salary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct indepth analysis and handson troubleshooting of electrical systems ensuring functionality across power distribution lighting and control systems.
• Assist with system installation and setup in the field ensuring correct wiring connections and operation of all electrical components.
• Perform system testing and diagnostics onsite resolving issues to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Create comprehensive technical documents such as specifications reports manuals and operational guidelines.
• Ensure all work meets relevant safety codes and standards both local and international (e.g. NEC IEC OSHA).
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including engineers project managers and contractors to deliver cohesive and well-integrated system solutions.
• Offer handson technical assistance during construction and commissioning phases supporting internal teams and field crews as needed.
• Identify and recommend enhancements to system integration workflows and overall performance of electrical installations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Native or fluent in English (C1 level) with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 35 years of relevant experience particularly in fieldwork troubleshooting and handson support of electrical systems.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems including backup power distribution lighting and controls.
• Handson experience with electrical tools wiring diagnostics and system testing.
• Knowledge of applicable industry standards and electrical safety regulations.
• Ability to perform standard electrical calculations such as load analysis and voltage drop.
• Comfortable using a range of diagnostic and testing equipment (e.g. multimeters insulation testers).
• Strong problemsolving ability with a handson practical mindset.
• Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative crossdisciplinary environment.
