Job summary
A leading energy company is seeking a Resident Engineer for Electrical Substation projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves managing the electrical engineering portfolio for power substations and ensuring compliance with technical standards during design and construction. Candidates should have a BE in Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the UAE, preferably with knowledge of clients such as TRANSCO. This position focuses on site management, coordination, and supervision of complex technical works.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in UAE.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Electrical Engineering portfolio of Power substations during design and construction supervision.
- Supervise complex technical works and manage customer interfaces.
- Ensure construction follows approved designs and address nonconformance.
- Plan and supervise engineering and construction inspection activities.
- Closeout and verify installed quantities.
Education
Resident Engineer Electrical Substation
Job Title: RE Electrical Substation
Location: UAE
- Manage the Electrical Engineering portfolio of the Power substations 400kV / 220kV / 132kV) project including the Technical HSE and Financial performance of the projects during design and construction supervision.
- The work will involve the site supervision/management of complex technical works of the Client (TRANSCO) alongside the management of customer interfaces.
- Monitor that construction strictly follows approved design reporting and clearance of nonconformance.
- Planning organizing and supervision of engineering and construction inspection activities
- Do closeout and verification of installed quantities.
Experience Min 10 Years in UAE
Qualification BE in Electrical Engineering
Preference : Experience with Transco ADDC DEWA etc
