A leading financial services firm in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end transformation of their core banking platform. The role involves managing large-scale implementation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in banking, with a strong focus on core banking transformations and relevant program management certifications. Qualifications
- 10+ years in banking/financial services with a focus on core banking transformations.
- Experience with large-scale banking system implementations.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end transformation of the core banking platform.
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, and Risk.

Lead the end-to-end transformation of the bank's core banking platform, driving modernization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage large-scale core banking system implementation/migration programs
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Risk, and Business units
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
- Oversee vendor relationships and system integration activities
- Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations and banking standards
- Drive change management and stakeholder engagement across the organization
- Report program status to executive leadership and steering committees
- 10+ years in banking/financial services, with 5+ years in core banking transformations
- Proven experience managing large-scale banking system implementations (e.g., Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of retail/corporate banking products and operations
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent program management certification
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
