Project Manager- Core Banking Transformation Role Overview

Lead the end-to-end transformation of the bank's core banking platform, driving modernization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale core banking system implementation/migration programs
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Risk, and Business units
• Develop and maintain program roadmaps, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
• Oversee vendor relationships and system integration activities
• Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations and banking standards
• Drive change management and stakeholder engagement across the organization
• Report program status to executive leadership and steering committees

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in banking/financial services, with 5+ years in core banking transformations
• Proven experience managing large-scale banking system implementations (e.g., Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE, SAP)
• Strong knowledge of retail/corporate banking products and operations
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent program management certification
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
