We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and manage complex mechanical engineering projects across various domains including design, development, testing and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, project leadership skills and a proactive approach to solving engineering challenges in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Lead the mechanical design analysis and development of products, systems and components.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Review and approve technical documentation, BOMs and engineering change requests.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing and quality to ensure design integration.
- Supervise testing and validation activities; analyze data and recommend improvements.
- Identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget, scope and schedule.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new designs and processes.
- Adhere to industry codes, safety standards and company quality procedures (ASME, ISO, etc.).
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors and stakeholders on technical matters.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s Degree is an added advantage).
- 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, product development or manufacturing.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred (if applicable in region).
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of materials, mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with GD&T, FEA and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to lead cross‑disciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
