Job summary
A financial services company in Dubai is seeking an experienced accountant to perform month-end closing procedures and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience, strong financial reporting skills, and excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, conducting reconciliations, and supporting audits. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of UAE experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely month-end closing procedures.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies.
