The Piping & Layout Engineer will be integrated with LNG Project Team and will be responsible for the piping material tasks (Equipment layout piping specifications and MTOs piping support 3D model).

Position based in Dubai for 23 years with missions in India at the beginning of the project during detail engineering and Gabon at the end of the project for site commissioning activities.

Report to: Piping Valve Vessel Lead

• Based at Engineering Contractor Facilities to Supervise 3D model and layouts development during the entire Detail engineering phase.
• Manage all piping and layout interfaces between contractors and Company free issue items.
• Ensure coordination and implementation of Piping stress analysis results into the 3D.
• Develop and/or review piping material specifications insulation specification painting specifications data sheets for valves piping hoses and specials items.
• Checks all produced documents (internal or subcontracted) like design reports technical specifications drawings etc under his responsibility.
• Provide support to all purchasing activities: requisition technical bid evaluation review of vendor documentation.

• Act as Field engineer for all technical clarification for Fabrication Contractor
• Review Contractor fabrication and welding specifications.
• Review Contractor construction engineering deliverable such as isometrics test pack
• Provide Materials Engineering consulting to inspectors engineers management and operators.
• Mentor inspectors engineers and others in materials technologies such as materials selection welding and fabrication and corrosion control.
• Attend FAT for vendor packages.

• 8/10 years experience in Oil & Gas industry including 3 years in a LNG Project as a minimum. The position requires a strong background in LNG process and cryogenic units.
• Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience including responsibilities like those listed above.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead and participate in team activities resulting in highquality problem solving root cause analysis damage mechanism reviews and RBI studies.
• Able to climb ladders enter equipment and offshore operations.
