A leading financial institution seeks an Auditor to perform internal audits, assist with planning and fieldwork, and prepare findings for the Lead Auditor. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in commerce or accounting and preferably have professional certifications like CIA, CPA, ACCA, or ACA. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role. This opportunity offers you a chance to contribute effectively to audit quality and adherence to company policies.

Role: Auditor
Location: Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose:
Perform internal audits assigned by GIA Management. Assist in audit planning, fieldwork, reporting, maintaining work papers and following up corrective action plans. Support fellow auditors with their daily audit work whenever required.
General Characteristics: Perform designated audit areas of scheduled audits in line with the approved GIA Methodology and support GIA Management to deliver the approved GIA plan.
- Understand the Planning Document.
- Execute and provide updates for the Audit Program.
- Complete the areas assigned in field work as per the audit program, schedule and budget.
- Conduct the audit as per GIA Methodology through comprehensive audit coverage and adherence to audit quality.
- Prepare and complete audit work papers, evidence and documents in the Audit Management System for review by Lead Auditor/Head of Audit.
- Prepare/discuss the audit findings comprehensively and hand-over the same to the Lead Auditor.
- Support the Lead Auditor to review the actions recommended relating to closure and monitoring of audit action plans and provide recommendation to Lead Auditor accordingly.
- Adhere to goals and KPIs set for themselves.
- Where necessary, carry out any other additional task as assigned by GIA Management.
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting etc. or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Preferred Qualifications/Certifications: CIA/CPA/ACCA/ACA.
- Good communication (written & verbal) skills.
