Job summary

An international engineering and consulting firm is seeking a skilled HSE Engineer to join their site team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the HSE domain, with at least 12 years of relevant work and specific qualifications including an HSE Master's or Bachelor's degree. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with HSE plans, managing project risks, and engaging in incident investigations. This role plays a crucial part in promoting safety culture and maintaining legal compliance on-site.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the HSE domain.
  • Minimum 3 years as HSE Engineer with relevant Master’s Degree.
  • Minimum 4 years as HSE Engineer with relevant Bachelor’s Degree or NEBHSE Diploma.
  • Minimum 5 years as HSE Engineer with Post-Secondary HSE Qualification.
  • ISO 45001: 2018 Lead Auditor Qualification required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Contractors follow the approved HSE Plan and legal requirements.
  • Identify project risks and communicate them to contractors.
  • Participate actively in site meetings related to HSE.
  • Develop an effective HSE monitoring program.
  • Engage in HSE incident investigations and report findings.
