Structural Inspector

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Inspector to join our team. In this role you will inspect structural works on the jobsite and perform continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications. What You'll Be Doing

• Inspect site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.
• Give practical advice on constructional matters.
• Inspect construction, including temporary works, to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
• Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.
• Direct inspectors and ensure performance.
• Assist in or measure work done when required.
• Observe site safety procedures.
• Assist in preparation of "as-built" drawings.
• Assist with inspection of completed works, prepare snag lists, and handover to operating authority.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum of 4 years related construction supervision experience.
• Or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum of 7 years related construction supervision experience.
• Project experience in BRIDGES and/or UNDERPASS structures is mandatory.
• Preferably with related work experience in Dubai, UAE, or GCC in an engineering consulting firm.
