Role Overview:

Orbit ISS is seeking a skilled QC Instrumentation Inspector who is responsible for ensuring that all instrumentation installation, calibration and testing activities comply with project specifications, applicable standards and client requirements. The role focuses on verifying the quality and functionality of field instruments, control systems and associated wiring during construction, pre‑commissioning and commissioning stages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspection and verification of instrumentation works, including installation, wiring, calibration and loop testing.
  • Ensure all materials and instruments conform to approved drawings, data sheets and material submittals.
  • Witness and verify calibration of transmitters, switches, gauges, analyzers and control valves with valid calibration certificates traceable to international standards.
  • Monitor loop checking, continuity and insulation resistance testing in accordance with ITPs and project procedures.
  • Verify installation details such as instrument orientation, tagging, earthing and cable routing.
  • Coordinate with construction, commissioning and vendor representatives to ensure timely completion of inspection activities.
  • Raise and close NCRs ensuring implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, calibration records and final dossiers.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 510 years of QA/QC experience in Instrumentation within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Offshore projects.
  • Aramco or ADNOC project experience advantageous.
