POSITION SUMMARY
Our jobs aren't just about mixing drinks. Instead, we aim to create an experience that is memorable and unique. Our bartenders have the basics down but are constantly looking out for new trends, micro-local offerings, and evolving guest needs. They are not just beverage enthusiasts but also hosts of the space. Their role extends beyond the bar to take ownership of guest service more broadly and do what needs to be done. Bartenders will use their knowledge and expertise to ensure the bar looks and functions flawlessly. They will build relationships across the hotel and community to anticipate and fulfill guest needs. They should be passionate about guest service and attentive to details, from handling money accurately to providing information to guests and maintaining drink quality.
Regardless of position, critical success factors include creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, protecting assets, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring professional appearance and uniform. Bartenders will be on their feet and moving around, engaging in physical activities such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 25 pounds without assistance, including reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, and stooping. Performing these duties well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is essential for delivering excellent guest service and supporting our business each time.
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
License or Certification: None required.
