Job description

How does your working day look like

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espresso cappuccino latte and specialty drinks in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests taking orders accurately and making personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Operate espresso machines grinders and other coffee equipment with precision and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station including the brewing area equipment and service areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and replenish coffee supplies including coffee beans milk syrups and other ingredients to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to coordinate food and beverage orders and deliver a seamless dining experience to guests.
• Uphold company policies and procedures including cash handling inventory management and sanitation standards.
• Stay informed about coffee trends brewing techniques and product knowledge to enhance the guest experience and contribute to menu development.
• Assist with special events promotions and other hotel activities as needed.
• Maintain a positive attitude work cooperatively with colleagues and contribute to a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista in a hotel restaurant caf or similar setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating espresso machines and other coffee equipment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact courteously with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques beverage recipes and quality standards.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work mornings evenings weekends and holidays as required.
• Food handlers certification or willingness to obtain one.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality or food service is a plus.
