About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Team Director to lead our global team of both on-site and remote professionals. This role will play a crucial part in driving Future Zone’s commercial outreach and operational excellence. You will oversee the development of networks with event companies, speaker bureaus, and organizations across the UAE and neighboring countries, supporting our mission to promote high-impact technology talks. Additionally, you'll be involved in general management tasks, ensuring collaboration and productivity across time zones.

Job Responsibilities : Team Leadership & Operations

• Lead team members, ensuring collaboration and productivity across time zones.
• Mentor and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture.

Commercial & Partnership Development

• Establish and grow a network of partners including event firms, speaker agencies, and corporate organizations.
• Lead initiatives to expand Future Zone’s presence in the UAE and surrounding regions through talks, panels, and events.

Strategic Collaboration

• Work closely with leadership to develop scalable business strategies and growth plans.
• Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings and client engagement.

Skills & Person Specifications

• Proven experience in a leadership role managing cross-functional, international teams.
• Strong background in commercial outreach, partnerships, or event-based networking.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle people management with empathy, clarity, and structure.
• A proactive, strategic thinker with a strong interest in future trends and emerging technologies.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural team and build on the organization's values.
• A degree in Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience :

• A minimum of 5 years of experience.
