• Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate security threats in cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures specifically tailored for cloud and network security frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in cybersecurity.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and breaches, employing advanced threat detection tools and methodologies.
• Evaluate and integrate security tools and technologies that enhance the overall security posture of cloud and network infrastructures.
• Lead security awareness training programs for staff to promote a culture of cybersecurity vigilance and adherence.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives by staying updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity, specifically focusing on cloud and network security roles.
• Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CEH to validate expertise in cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Proven experience with cloud security platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, demonstrating hands-on expertise in securing cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure to respond effectively to security incidents.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, showcasing technical proficiency.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning in cybersecurity trends and technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus, particularly in multinational organizations.
