Job description
The Opportunity

You will be joining a global team of passionate Career Development Advisors who excel at coaching students to secure great jobs opportunities around the world. This role will be based out of our Dubai Campus, focusing on the UAE and wider GCC market in a lean, all‑hands‑on‑deck operational environment. The role contains multiple priorities: student advising, student engagement for events and initiatives, and spotlighting the value of Hult students to employers in the local job market. You will work with students to kickstart their early careers journeys in the region, using your knowledge of globalised working trends, HR and recruitment best practices, and the localised work culture in the GCC. By drawing on your excellent communication and job‑search strategy skills you will deliver workshops, one‑to‑one advising sessions and contribute to building a robust network of employer partners to place Hult students each year. A creative approach and content‑creation skills are required to engage GenZ students, alongside an “impossible” mindset and a desire to be part of a high‑growth, entrepreneurial business school.

Responsibilities
  • Career Skilling – Deliver a series of interactive workshops covering all career and job‑search fundamentals (Resume, LinkedIn, Personal Branding, Networking, Pitching, Interviewing).
  • Career Platform – Contribute to updating new resources and knowledge on the platform, forwarding curated materials, insights and advice to students on an ongoing basis.
  • Career Advising – Provide 1:1 coaching sessions to support students in identifying target jobs and establishing an action plan for achieving job success; set student expectations and explain the nuances of a competitive job market.
  • Career Connections – Work with students to help them build and leverage their existing networks, and to build new relationships for access to job opportunities; support navigation of the Hult Alumni Ecosystem and participation in #HultHIresHult job opportunities.
  • Market Readiness – Utilise AI tools to ensure students are “market ready” with professional documentation and build a CV look‑book to distribute to the network.
  • Relationship Building – Build rapport with students year‑on‑year, collect annual employment data and document successes for rankings and employability.
Key Requirements
  • Belief in and desire to participate in the Hult mission for educating, inspiring and empowering students from more than 150 different countries.
  • 5 years’ experience building recruitment expertise and best practices, with deep knowledge and network in one or more functional areas or industry sectors.
  • Previous career advisory experience and knowledge of student development and career counselling practices; familiarity with assessment tools, career planning models, career communications (including social media) and job‑search execution.
  • Previous use of Canva and content creation with a tasteful creative vision.
  • Ability to visualise and create infographics that are digestible to the student audience.
  • Previous end‑to‑end event management experience with proven operations, event facilitation and project‑management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Undergraduate degree required; postgraduate degrees, certificates, credentials and formal training are highly valued.
  • Resourceful, curious and maintained positive energy.
