The CAD Technician is responsible for creating and updating technical drawings for wastewater and sewage projects. This role supports engineers by turning designs into clear, accurate 2D and 3D drawings.

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil, mechanical, and electrical components related to wastewater and sewage network systems.
• Assist engineers by creating technical drawings from sketches, notes, and verbal instructions.
• Maintain and update “as-built” drawings for ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with project and maintenance teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Revise drawings based on engineering feedback, site changes, or updated specifications.
• Support the creation of layout plans, general arrangement drawings, and detailed sections.
• Ensure compliance with CAD standards and engineering drawing protocols.
• Conduct on-site visits as necessary to verify dimensions and collect data on the existing sewage network configuration for drafting.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers regarding drawing requirements and revisions.
• Produce drawings for tender, construction, and record purposes.
• Participate in technical meetings to support project execution and drawing clarification.
• Prepare presentation materials when required using AutoCAD or visualization tools

• Technical Diploma in any relevant field.
• From 3 to 5 years in sewage network projects, construction or refurbishment
• Abu Dhabi resident is a must.
• Proficient in CAD software (, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit).
• Strong knowledge of technical drawing standards and engineering practices.
• Ability to interpret and convert design concepts and specifications into technical drawings.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and precision in drafting.
• Capable of updating as-built drawings and managing drawing documentation.
• Strong organizational and file management skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with engineering teams.
