Job summary
A financial services firm is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage business transactions, control cash and banks, and assist in reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing accounting entries accurately, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have good communication abilities in English. - Verify documents sent to the F&A department for accuracy.
- Process and book all business transactions accurately.
- Control cash and bank accounts.
Skills
Purpose: The Accountant will be responsible for business transactions booking in the system used by the company. Handle Fixed Assets register. Prepare reconciliations. Control cash and banks. Allocate item price and cost. Assist management in other accounting duties.
This Job Location is in Lebanon working remotely from an office space.
- Verify all documents sent to F&A department for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies.
- Process/book all business transactions (JVs, PVs, receipts, Petty Cash…)
- Control cash and bank accounts.
- Ensure new item creation- Cost and Price allocation.
- Ensure proper booking of fixed assets (Depreciation, Acquisition, Disposal).
- Prepare reconciliations for: Bank, Suppliers (in coordination with Procurement), cash/petty cash.
- Assist in GL reconciliation.
- Assist management in other accounting duties.
- Efficient in accounting entries average 30 to 40 per day.
- Experience in all type of accounting transactions.
- Booking Accuracy.
- Detail oriented in accounting.
- Strong Follow up.
- Accounting cycle literacy.
- Internal controls/SOPs oriented.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems.
