Job description

Black & Grey HR is recruiting on behalf of a leading private investment holding company in Abu Dhabi UAE. Our client is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records ensuring compliance and supporting the company s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with UAE regulations and internal policies.
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable and VAT filings.
  • Support procurement activities including vendor coordination, purchase order processing and inventory tracking.
  • Perform PRO duties such as visa processing, labor card applications, Emirates ID renewals and liaising with government entities.
  • Ensure timely submission of government-related documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial and administrative operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial and government-related matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting preferably within the UAE.
  • Familiarity with UAE labor laws, visa processes and government portals.
  • Experience in procurement or supply chain functions is a plus.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
