- Assist in operating the parts store and storeroom
- Administration process surrounding ordering and purchasing of stock
- Negotiate pricing of parts with suppliers
- Receiving parts from suppliers and checking it into the storeroom
- Issuing of parts to the needed departments
- Knowledge of truck and trailer parts to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor stock levels to balance stock quantities and monthly spend
- Monthly and yearly stock takes
- 3 - 5 Years working experience in a similar environment
- Code 8 Drivers License
- Knowledge of heavy vehicle parts is essential
- Willing to work every third weekend
- Management skills advantageous
- Administrative skills
- Computer literate
Salaries are based on a Total Cost to Company model and includes :
